QQI Level 5 Care Course

We are pleased to announce a new QQI level 5 course CARE SKLLS 5N2770 which is advertised to run from April until May 2022 (details TBC).

This minor award is suitable for anyone who would like to learn more about how to care for people in a safe and hygienic environment.  It is a valuable module for work within healthcare or personal care.  This module can be used to meet the requirements of the following Major Awards:

5M2786 Community Care

5M3782 Health Service Skills

5M4339 Healthcare Support

5M4349 Nursing Studies

The QQI Level 5 CARE SKILLS 5N2770 award can also be used as credits towards any other QQI Level 5 major award (once all other modules are achieved, please check with your coordinator for more details)

The dates and times are still to be confirmed but because this module is a very practical module it will require attendance at our service in Dundrum but there may be some online delivery also.  If you, or any of your friends and family, are interested in finding out more you can read further details and express your interest using the following link:

**PLEASE NOTE: this is a BTEI course so eligibility criteria will apply.  This course is offered to anyone aged 18-65years in receipt of a social welfare payment, OR with a medical card, OR anyone who is an early school leaver.  Students must hold a Stamp 4 visa to take part in this course and should have the required standard of knowledge, skill, competence and verbal and written English to take part in a QQI Level 5 course. This may have been achieved through a formal qualification or through relevant life and work experience.
